Allowing Internet Explorer to load ACTIVEX control for viewing TDK GateCam
By Default, Internet Explorer versions from Microsoft prohibit the downloading of 'unsigned activex controls', which includes the Activex control used by the Webcam viewing software on this site.
In order to view the TDK Webcam, you need to download and enable the Activex control - please do not be alarmed by the message of an unsigned Activex control, this is simply the Microsoft security being over protective in trying to keep malicious and unknown software off of your computer. Activex controls have the ability to invoke other programs and make changes to your computer, so you should always be very careful in installing such items to your computer.
To install the activex control, you must change a setting in your Internet Explorer browser - the change we are recommending here is that you ask the browser to PROMPT you if any website should try to load any activex control onto your computer. This way, if any other site has an activex control trying to load on your computer, you will be alerted and can make the decision as to whether you wish to install the control or not.
To allow the activex control to install on your computer:
Click TOOLS ---> Internet Options on your browser toolbar

From the Internet Options POP-UP window, click on the security tab.
Click on the button 'CUSTOM LEVEL' on the security screen.

Scroll down the Security Options to find 'Download unsigned ActiveX controls.

Change the setting for Unsigned Activex controls from Disable to Prompt.
Click OK to save
Click OK on the internet options popup to save.
Close your Internet Explorer browser, and reopen.
Go back to the TDK main website page at http://www.tdklogistics.com , click on the 'View GateCam Live Video option' and when you are prompted, select to install the activex control.
The video stream should appear shortly in the main web screen.
